A new air conditioning system was recently installed at the White House Visitor Center in Washington, D.C. This included a Carolina Heat Pipe provided Controllable Thermosyphon Heat Pipe System. The mechanical design engineering firm was N.V.E. of Reston, VA and the mechanical contractor was I.F.S. of Maryland.
